A typical restaurant serving delicious traditional cuisine. Try their snails and cassoulet! Truly excellent! We've been before and we'll be back again. Thank you for your hospitality!

Perfect for those who want to stop for a bite to eat without too many expectations. The burgers are very good. The location is perfect for visiting the medieval city.

I enjoyed my dinner there a lot. I had the onion soup and cassoulet and both was very tasty. I also had a glass of sparkling rosé wine which was the best one I've had so far, I wish I asked about the name. The waiters were also very friendly and the service was fast. I loved watching what was going on at the square and had a great time there, arrived early and left late. I'd definitely return if I'm in Carcassonne again.

A very pleasant bistro on a shaded square, with quick and friendly service at reasonable prices. Worth trying.

So it was good and the service was pleasant but they let you know that they refuse restaurant vouchers on Saturdays 🧐 and you only find out about that when you go to pay.

I'm struggling to understand the reviews of this restaurant. We went there on a whim and it was excellent; the servers were very pleasant and the food arrived quickly. The portions were more than generous. The only downside is that they don't accept restaurant vouchers on Saturdays, but you only find that out when you go to pay.

Since I only ordered a salad and a beer, the waiter wasn't very happy. He thought I was going to spend more, and because of that, he wasn't very friendly. I didn't like it; it's too touristy!

A fantastic welcome, just like the food... an extraordinary cassoulet served by top-notch staff with genuine warmth... the owner is an experienced motorcyclist, so it was bound to be a great experience.

Brasserie Le Longchamp

21/09/2026: We renamed this place the Long Wait. Ages went by before we got a knife and fork, longer still for the menu. The starter was very late out the blocks but was very tasty but the main - which took even longer - was bland. Worried we might see the first rays of morning, we skipped desert. It’s a lovely place to sit if you have the time.
18/09/2026: The most wonderful bunch had at this beautiful restaurant in the main square in Carcasonne. The staff are so very kind , thoughtful and friendly Strongly recommend a visit
