A very nice restaurant in the center of Tours on the lively Rue Colbert. The food is good, well-balanced and delicately prepared, preserving the flavor of the quality ingredients. I'm not giving it five stars because, despite the very kind staff, who even allowed us to bring a birthday cake (service charge of €3.50 per person), the service was a bit slow. Upon our arrival, since we hadn't had an aperitif, no one brought us water or a small entree, unlike at other restaurants we've been to. Overall, however, I'd recommend it because the evening was, in any case, pleasant.

We happened to check the Google reviews and booked online for three people, including a 93-year-old. The welcome was very warm, the staff were lovely and always smiling. The cuisine was traditional, just the way we like it. The starters were delicious (gravlax salmon, swordfish ceviche, guinea fowl pâté en croûte), the main courses (two sea bream and a shoulder of lamb), and the accompanying sauces were also delicious. In the end, we ordered three crème brûlées. A sparkling candle had been discreetly placed on our grandfather's crème brûlée. We had a wonderful time and will gladly return for a romantic dinner. It's worth noting that everything was delicious and the portions were generous.

An excellent restaurant with refined and original cuisine. We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves from appetizer to dessert. Even a dish that might seem 'standard' is elevated by the chef. A restaurant we can recommend without hesitation.

19/04/2026: Definitely one of the best restaurants of my life! A starter of sweetbread croquettes, scallops reimagined as a main course, and a lemon tart served in an unusual dish: a perfect meal from start to finish! Bravo to the team! 👏🏻
19/04/2026: The cuisine was simply exceptional. We enjoyed the beef tournedos Rossini and the beef tagliata, both outstanding. For dessert, the banana-chocolate bombe and the "boule de pétanque" (a type of small, round pastry) were also excellent. The service was impeccable, attentive and refined, with thoughtful touches like the amuse-bouches offered before the courses. The wine selection was also very good and perfectly paired with the dishes. The restaurant is very popular—reservations are essential—but it's easy to see why: an exceptional place that we recommend without hesitation.
