The place is magical, and the Elderflower Suite is sublime for a stay for two. The Nordic bath is very pleasant, as is the bathtub overlooking the garden. Breakfast was delivered to your door, and lunch was magical. A fabulous weekend, thank you!

A must-visit near Chantilly. Le Verbois achieves the perfect balance between tradition and modernity. Each dish is a discovery of textures and subtle flavors, without ever becoming over the top. The service is attentive without being stuffy, making this Michelin-starred experience all the more enjoyable. A restaurant that richly deserves its reputation. Cottages are available for overnight stays.

This review only applies to the restaurant, as we weren't staying at the hostel: overall, an excellent experience. The food was very good, and the setting was very pleasant. The service might be surprising at first (a certain familiarity/directness that we're not used to in this type of restaurant), but it wasn't unpleasant; it remained efficient and attentive, and we appreciated that the restaurant accommodated our time constraints at the end (lunch was a little longer than we had planned).

A superb 2-night stay in the Oxalys suite. The double bathtub is perfect for a relaxing soak for two, as is the terrace. The entire suite is tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. The adjoining restaurant is also very pleasant, with delicious food, as is the breakfast served in the room. Thank you to the owners for their warm welcome and helpfulness.

We went for dinner at their Michelin-starred restaurant. It has a lovely setting, a blend of Art Deco and antique styles, in a beautiful building. The terrace must be magnificent in good weather. The gardens are beautifully landscaped. There were two of us for dinner, and we opted for the five-course tasting menu. There were some delightful surprises, such as tuna ceviche with caper sorbet, a dessert made with salted caramel, samphire, and seaweed, and a kiwi and dill sorbet. They truly master the basics, sauces, and jus. One area for improvement: the 45-minute wait between being seated and ordering. As for the rest: we had John Dory and veal. The veal was quite classic (and very well cooked), while the fish was slightly overcooked. The service team was wonderful, charming, and attentive.
