Very pleasant welcome, smiling staff, top-notch starters and meals, desserts a little more basic. We highly recommend this restaurant located on the most beautiful square in Chalon.

Le Purgatoire

28/12/2025: We arrived by chance at 2 pm while looking for a place to eat. We received a warm welcome, both us and our White Swiss Shepherd. The daily specials were delicious, and the service was incredibly friendly. Our dog also loved Sissi, the restaurant's lovely schnauzer. Thank you!

22/03/2026: I recently discovered this bar-restaurant and I'm really impressed. The food is delicious, and the staff is attentive and welcoming. The owners do an amazing job, the hygiene is impeccable, and the atmosphere is very pleasant. I highly recommend it and will definitely be back.
