Le Vert Galant is a restaurant renowned for its sandwiches and ice creams... The good reputation is more than deserved because the sandwiches (or salads) are varied and copious and the ice creams are tasty and tasty, both savory and sweet... We we appreciated those with old-fashioned mustard, porcini mushrooms, Grand-Marnier, prunes-Armagnac... We would be closer if we would come regularly to taste new flavors... In addition, the service was attentive and smiling, so very pleasant. The terrace offers a beautiful view of the old bridge and the river... 73.40 euros for 2 toasts (Drômoise and Vert-Galant), 2 scoops of salty ice cream, 1 water, 1 pitcher of wine, 2 glasses, 2 coffees - Which makes it, for us, a good gourmet/price ratio. ..

Big discovery of ice creams, white floc aperitif with balsamic vinegar ice cream, delicious, then gers toast, candied foie gras potato toast, onion confit and mustard ice cream, killer. to do again I recommend

We go there every year during our holidays to taste their excellent ice creams, lots of choices and flavors that are out of the ordinary.

Super pleasant and very willing staff. Delicious ice cream, lots of flavor. A moment of relaxation on a shaded terrace.

We chose to dine here for lunch when we saw what a unique menu it has and it’s a beautiful location down on the river in Nérac. The staff were very welcoming and were happy to speak in English where our French was limited. We ordered two Tartines and accompanying savoury ice cream and the food was amazing!! So tasty and very different. We had to have dessert given the huge choice of ice cream flavours available and we were not disappointed! The weekday lunch menu looks fantastic value so we will definitely be returning! Merci Beaucoup!
