27/04/2026: I ate there Saturday night with two friends and we all agreed: the pizzas were disgusting, the crust was hard, and the tomato sauce was really awful. I strongly advise against going.

The dishes are varied and very well prepared.
I highly recommend it and a word of advice... make a reservation!
15/05/2026: A lovely view of Henri IV's castle. A bit of history on the menu about the origins of the Flying Squadrons. Dishes for everyone and a great wine list.
And the waiter who looks like Pierre Niney… only better looking 🤩

16/05/2026: A wonderful discovery at Moulin des Saveurs in Barbaste. The place is full of charm, with its cave-like dining room located directly opposite the Moulin des Tours.
Chef Sébastien Gilbert's cuisine is masterful from start to finish: excellent pan-seared foie gras, very fresh tuna tataki, perfectly seared prawns, and incredibly tender lamb. The meal ended beautifully with cheeses and a lovely pineapple-based dessert. Special mention goes to the excellent wine pairing recommendations.
The staff is attentive, and the value for money is truly exceptional for the complete menu with wines. This is a must-visit in the region, and I wholeheartedly recommend it.

10/04/2026: Excellent experience! The regional burger with its semi-cooked foie gras was delicious! The staff were incredibly friendly, the servers were very pleasant and attentive. The ingredients were high quality; you can taste the love and care in every bite. I highly recommend your restaurant.
06/03/2026: It's not what it used to be since the excellent pizza maker left; he's been replaced by someone who unfortunately doesn't know how to make pizzas... And on top of that, the prices have gone up!
We won't be going back.

26/03/2026: The quality has dropped a bit this year. We eat sushi quite often, almost always for takeout, and lately the rolls have been coming apart; they could definitely update that. The service is good.

28/05/2026: A very pleasant place in a beautiful setting near the base. The staff is very welcoming. The dishes are original and can be accompanied by a scoop of ice cream (80 flavors in total). Worth trying if you're in the area.

The cocktails are made with ice cream, and the open-faced sandwiches or salads are served with ice cream in original flavors (cheese, spices, garden herbs, or something else entirely). I opted for an open-faced sandwich with a scoop of Roquefort cheese—a delight to try if you're ever in Nérac! Absolutely top-notch!

01/12/2025: What a lovely welcome! It felt like being in a nightclub smoking room, with the owner filling the whole place with cigarette smoke.
As for the pizzas, they were a real insult to Italian cuisine. I've eaten a lot of pizza in my life, and this one was by far the most awful... no fresh ingredients whatsoever, and pizzas that didn't even taste like pizzas... how is that possible?
I was lucky enough to open my mouth to a hair on the first slice I picked up.
And the hygiene... Good heavens!

22/10/2025: A lovely little restaurant along the river. Food was excellent. Couple that run the restaurant where lovely and where knowledgeable regarding my wife’s need for gluten free food. Highly recommend!
07/10/2025: This meal, decided on at the last minute, was a pleasant surprise.
Good value for money for this type of restaurant.
The walnut gnocchi, roasted Camembert, and apple crumbles were all very good.
All enjoyed on the terrace in the sunshine.
Perfect.
