Delicious and unique meal in a beautiful setting! We tried the daily specials and they were absolutely lovely. Excellent service- a must visit if you are in Nerac :)

The menu is absolutely impressive and the prices are extremely reasonable. It's a place where everyone can leave satisfied. The setting is ideal and very charming, especially the small terrace by the water. However, a little more effort could be made regarding the welcome, perhaps a smile, even though the waitress was very helpful.

This a a lovely restaurant in a great location with an interesting menu and lots of vegetarian options.
The only downside is that on the terrace there are too many tables in too small a space so you’re packed in and often have to ask a stranger to move so that you can sit or get up from the table.
Every time I’ve been there have been empty tables, so I don’t understand why they can’t just have fewer

We stopped for ice cream. They were excellent with lots of original choices. The lady serving us was very friendly and took the time to chat with us despite the crowd on the terrace.

A lovely restaurant by the water.
The cuisine is original, with open-faced sandwiches topped with ingredients like duck confit, Indian-style chicken, and more, served with foie gras or basil sorbet. Surprising but delicious.

Today, I want to express my sincere gratitude to the owner of Le Vert Galant restaurant in Nérac.
His cuisine, both delicious and original, was a true delight… but it is above all his exceptional hospitality that deserves to be highlighted.
Having come with an elderly person in a wheelchair, I was touched by his attentiveness and kindness: he took the time to help the lady into an adapted wheelchair and had reserved a lovely table for us on the terrace, right by the Baïse River.
A simple gesture, but so precious.
In my work as a caregiver, these kinds of thoughtful touches make all the difference.
Thank you for this rare kindness and for this truly delightful experience.

An ice cream in the afternoon or a light meal with a matching ice cream... this is a unique experience here, and as the icing on the cake, you have a beautiful location on the Baïse.
