This restaurant is anything but ordinary; upon entering, you feel like you've stepped into a hunting lodge. The decor is rather old-fashioned and peculiar. The food is plentiful but lacks a certain finesse. The welcome, however, remains somewhat cold. Nevertheless, this restaurant is still an interesting find and is a well-known spot in Chantilly.

My girlfriend and I discovered this restaurant while visiting Chatilly for the first time. As you approach, you can see its discreet facade, which blends perfectly with the town's architecture. Once inside, you're greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere. The menu is extensive, featuring authentic dishes that are sure to please even the most discerning palates. We opted for a terrine as a starter, and it was absolutely delicious. I then continued with a duck breast served with mashed potatoes and sauce. Besides being elegant, this dish was a true delight. I don't think I've ever had mashed potatoes of this caliber. The duck breast slices very easily, and paired with the mashed potatoes and sauce, it's simply divine. My only regret is perhaps not having ordered more ^^ but I was very hungry that day. NB: I would give it 4.75 if decimals were allowed. If you are passing through Chantilly, I recommend this restaurant to anyone who would like traditional and authentic cuisine.

A wonderful culinary discovery. An inn just the way I like them: a lovely menu of both food and wine, and excellent daily specials. The portions are generous and delicious. The service is top-notch, with staff who come from different backgrounds but are always professional and pleasant. A major drawback is the decor and the lack of cohesion between the two dining rooms. This stylistic choice isn't necessarily in good taste and doesn't do justice to the talent of the kitchen staff.

Exceptionally warm welcome. Lovely setting, not far from the castle. Very good meal, beautifully presented and delicious. Excellent dessert with the famous Chantilly cream. Price rather high. Parking nearby. Worth doing.
