We had a wonderful evening at this very friendly restaurant. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced without compromising on quality. We're so glad we discovered this restaurant! Thank you to the staff for a lovely evening, and we hope to see you again soon.

Very good. Especially the beef. I liked the fries less; they were North American fries, not the kind you'd find in northern France... limp and overcooked... instead of golden and crispy. Probably the type of potatoes, even though the bag the owner showed me said they were ideal for future meals... the rest was very good.

We had a wonderful time at this establishment! The welcome from the manager and his children was particularly warm. As for the food, we thoroughly enjoyed it: the homemade fries were excellent, the daily special was superb, and we finished on a high note with a quality coffee.

A pleasant interior with a soft and welcoming style. It's calm and refined. The welcome and service were exceptional ("attentive and caring"). The traditional cuisine is of high quality, featuring excellent ingredients. I highly recommend this restaurant for your business lunches or dinners, as well as for personal occasions.

04/01/2026: A lovely spot nestled in an artsy courtyard, a bohemian yet decidedly bourgeois wine cellar, and delicious food. A delightful evening at reasonable prices in a unique setting.
02/11/2025: It's definitely number 9; you can't miss the porch with its large wooden door, but you have to look up to see the rather discreet sign. Inside, you'll find a patio with a monumental stone table, numerous potted trees—lemon, orange, jasmine—and a room where jazz concerts are held if you happen to be there on the right day. An oasis of greenery in the heart of Nîmes, it's a restaurant, bar, and live music venue all rolled into one... it all depends on your luck and your mood.

01/04/2026: Excellent food and excellent service, especially from the head waiter who was very friendly and welcoming, speaking to us in Spanish. We opted for the €25 set menu, which included a starter, a main course, and dessert. We tried the endive gratin with ham, the mushroom velouté, the ox tongue with Madeira sauce, a lamb stew with tomato sauce, nougat ice cream with raspberry sauce, and a cream pudding with Chantilly cream.
30/03/2026: Excellent wine list, a local institution. Highly recommended.
