As a wine stop, it's a nice place! Cool little cave inside and good wine. The staff was a bit short perhaps but it's not uncommon and doesn't bother me that much, they did their job - we got wine and could pay when we left

There have been some pretty bad reviews of this restaurant and given the experiences I can see why but our experience was pretty good. The food is not incredibly high-quality, but there is an advantage that it is open all day long. Most restaurants open between seven and 730 which is just Too late for me. We had the €19 selection. Which has the salad the chicken in mushroom sauce and the lemon tart. The food was good they are. The chicken was a little tough. The tart was beautifully sour as one would expect and was delicious. The canned cream was not so special. The sangria was great the white wine, not bad and sitting on the street as the sun went down was fabulous. There is indoor dining as well as the outdoor area. Can recommend this restaurant if you like dinner at six.

The restaurant is fine, small, with a terrace with tables fairly close together. They have a €20 menu that includes three starters and three main courses, along with three desserts to choose from. The dishes aren't bad, but for the price and the location, you can't expect great quality. The service was very good and the service was very fast. The desserts, including the lemon tart, even though it's industrial, were quite good.

A lovely little restaurant in a beautiful medieval city. Fast and efficient service, good food, and reasonable prices. Kudos to the staff for their friendliness and responsiveness.

Pleasant, smiling waitress...value for money, nothing to say

A highly recommended place for its excellent value for money. I've seen other reviews about this place, and I don't know how people expect to eat here for less than €20 in a completely touristy city right at the foot of Carcassonne's old town. The menu is very good, both in terms of quantity and quality. The waitress Julia's service was excellent, very friendly and attentive. My daughter is celiac, and she went out of her way to serve her. It's one of the few places in Carcassonne where part of the menu is suitable for celiacs. 100% recommended!! 👍🏼😉🥇🥩🍟🥓🍰

The waiters are very friendly and helpful. They served us bread and water immediately and made sure we didn't miss anything. However, it's true that the squid was frozen from a low-quality bag. The chicken with cream of mushroom soup was very good. The cold cuts as starters were also very simple, but they also served a shrimp salad that looked good. The menu is €19.

We stopped here by chance this evening and had a lovely menu for €19.90. The waitresses were amazing...so attentive and friendly. A good value place to eat. Thank you!

I'm going to tell you about my experience. It's not a 4, but they won't let me give it half a star; it would be a 3 and a half. Let's start with the good things: the service was wonderful. We're Spanish, and the waiter made a huge effort to make sure you understood her and us. The other waiter was also very helpful and provided excellent service. The place was a bit crowded, but they have a small terrace where you can eat with your four-legged friend, which is a huge plus for us, as we have two medium-large dogs. They welcomed them with great care. Let's start with the negative points: the food, in terms of preparation, was quite good, but the portions were quite small. This can be seen in the photos. The cold cuts board consisted of two slices of ham, one slice of cooked ham, one slice of cheese, and 10 slices of chorizo. The salad with shrimp and orange was super-scarce. The main courses were quite good, but the potatoes were frozen. The chicken with mushrooms was very good and the portion was good compared to the rest, although I could have used a bit more salad given that it only had 5 arugula leaves and a single cherry tomato. The dessert, the lemon tart, was quite acidic considering it's a lemon tart, and the portion was super small, no more than two or three fingers of super-thin tart. I bet they bring the water in a glass bottle, but it's from the tap or something like that's what it tastes like. We ate from the set menu, which was almost 20 euros per person, and it's only available until 2:30 p.m. After that, they serve you with a menu.
