We were hesitant to enter because the reviews are very bad, but not that bad and it is quite well located. The menu was simple but quite good, I liked the chicken meat in sauce and the waitresses were very attentive and friendly. The price is in line with those on the same street and a little cheaper than inside the medieval city (it is 10 minutes from it). Of course, only to go one day because they always have the same menu from what I have seen. in the photos of the reviews

Quantity of quality, great value for money. A treat for the taste buds, we had the foie gras as a starter, we enjoyed ourselves, the perfect duck breast, perfectly cooked and the lemon tart, the waitresses and the owner were really very pleasant, attentive and always smiling. Small downside for tap water or ice cubes which have a very bad taste but for the rest perfect

Simple restaurant. Menu at €19.90
The dishes are good but very simple. The waitress we had was very nice but with bad French. We had difficulty making ourselves understood. Impossible to know what the pie on offer was. (With blueberries). Other than that the establishment is correct.
- The Sangria is good.
- Green salad with brie
Roman-style squid and fried chicken fillet.
- Apple tarts and one with the famous blueberries.

Reading the reviews I am shocked because I actually had a very nice meal here. The service was friendly and the outdoor seating is in a great spot on the outskirts of the Medieval city in Carcassonne.
I couldn’t fault my meal and would visit again but clearly many people have had a bad experience here…
