Bad experience. Let me explain: upon arrival, we were seated between the wine cellar and the dessert fridge, where all the servers pass by. Then, we ordered an aperitif, and the server took our order at the same time. And less than five minutes later, our main course (truffade) was served at the same time as our aperitif. We thought the dish was for one person, but no, it was for two… For dessert, we were offered a chalkboard with a few choices, even though the menu listed ice cream. So we left without dessert, still hungry, but with lighter wallets…

What a restaurant! And what a menu! On a diet? Stay away! Here you'll find local cuisine, and it's all delicious, rich in flavor and calories. We had a unique beer and ate some specialties. The atmosphere isn't particularly quiet, which is my (minor) complaint; it's actually quite noisy, but the food is worth the trip. My truffade was to die for! The cheese platter is fantastic (though be careful, I can't remember which one, but one of the cheeses was so big it almost made a hole in the plate!). There's plenty to choose from for the little ones too. Expect to pay around twenty euros per dish, but the portions are generous.

Hello Le Zinc I've been a loyal customer of Le Zinc for many years. I'm used to coming here regularly, either for business or pleasure, always with company. Sometimes during the week, sometimes on weekends. I've decided, I'm going to try other restaurants in Riom from now on, because the bills are becoming unbearable. Just look at this: for a weekday lunch, without aperitifs or drinks (only tap water), we paid almost €100!!! Do the math: over €30 per person for a weekday lunch, for one main course and dessert! The worst part was seeing the price of the desserts: €9.50 each!!! I can't fathom these prices in an establishment of this "standard." Sure, the interior is nice and the portions are generous, but it's certainly not a bistro! We'll now be going to other excellent restaurants in Riom (and I'm not talking about establishments in the same area as yours), where the cuisine is often more refined... and the bill less steep! A great menu with many regional dishes. Be warned, the portions are generous. The truffade was excellent. Very convenient too, right next to the motorway exit, so a quick and easy stop.

Excellent service, the servers were friendly. The quality and cooking of my hanger steak were perfect 👌 and the raspberry clafoutis was delicious 😋. Very convenient when staying at the hotel right next door.
