I highly recommend this place. The only downside: the desserts are all XXL-sized, ideal for an afternoon snack but too generous at the end of a meal. Two sizes would be welcome, depending on individual preferences :-).

A warm welcome. The food is good and plentiful. The appetizer platters are a delight and well-presented. The Tomahawk rib was cooked exactly as requested. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Julie provided excellent service, with a smile and kindness, which is becoming increasingly rare. This deserves special mention. We will definitely return.

Incredible meal at L'Edito! I thank Cyril, who was very professional and pleasant throughout the evening, offering excellent advice and culinary discoveries. I loved it; the food was amazing and the price is justified—it's the best restaurant I've tasted in the Valenciennes area!

Nice restaurant, but avoid it on weekends. Saturday evening service was incredibly slow; we waited an hour for a mixed platter, and we constantly had to chase after the waiter for water or bread. We were a table of seven, and each bread basket contained barely four or five pieces, and the water carafe barely had enough for one glass for the whole table. My advice: the food is good, but avoid it in the evening and on weekends.

The mixed platter was rather small, and the cheese selection was decent but nothing special. We enjoyed our meal and the service.
