Welcome Always a smile, a dynamic team that loves working here. Service Quick service, understanding when customers want to wait between drinks and their meal. The servers adapt to the customers, which is very much appreciated. Meals Basic meals, simply presented, but everything we would expect from a restaurant like L'Édito. It's not quite up to the standards of a fine dining establishment. The meals are good, served piping hot, cooked to order, and made with quality ingredients. Atmosphere A restaurant where bringing a child doesn't seem like a disaster or a problem. Of course, there's no constant shouting, but we appreciate the warm and friendly atmosphere. It's a place to come to a restaurant and have a good time. A top-notch team of servers. We've been to this establishment several times and have tried other places... We made a big mistake. We came back to L'Édito because we can't find better value for money and service. Keep it up, you're fantastic.

After being a customer for several years, your establishment has changed considerably. The food is still good, but the atmosphere and service have changed significantly. The staff is unpleasant. We were made to understand that we had to leave at 10:37 PM on a Sunday evening. This is a real shame because we were regular customers. We will be going elsewhere.

The desserts are incredible. However, I have mixed feelings about the drinks and food… I had a Kasteel red beer and it tasted like it had been watered down. I've had Welsh rarebit twice now and it's really not great. I tried a pork spider steak, which was also really bad. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be back.

We had a wonderful time with the family (on a Friday evening). L'Edito Valenciennes lives up to its reputation (I could have given the food and atmosphere 5 stars, but consider this an encouragement to always strive for more and better). The staff is particularly friendly and helpful, offering suggestions and advice without being intrusive. And the best part: the numerous and varied online reservation slots! This is a welcome change from other restaurants in Valenciennes where service is either at 7 pm or 9 pm. Well done, L'Edito!

A lovely place with very friendly staff... I highly recommend the ice cream, it's absolutely delicious. I was there on Sunday, January 25th with the group TMS (Toutes Mes Sorties).
