The strong point of this restaurant is obviously the setting. It benefits from the beauty of Vaugeux but the advantage is that it is slightly off-center, so it is calmer.
The service is very good and fast.
A little disappointed with the meats, however. A tartare that's a little too stringy.

While visiting Caen, we discovered this little restaurant on the advice of a magazine. No mistakes, warm welcome, impeccable service and homemade daily specials. We were able to enjoy the fresh produce.
I recommend cider from a local producer.

We enjoyed this restaurant, a little off the street of restaurants all close together.
Caen-style tripe was very difficult to find, and that's regrettable, fortunately this restaurant delighted our taste buds. Hearty.
The owner is very friendly and loves her quality work. We very, very highly recommend

In one word: wonderful!
We stayed with another couple of friends: a place in one of the most beautiful streets in Caen, really beautiful!
We were in the outdoor area, in front of the restaurant and it was very pleasant
€30 menu with starter, main course and dessert
The Camembert cube is delicious, as is the fashionable Caen tripe, wonderful and delicious (rightly award-winning)
Fast service, with a super popular menu in Italian
Highly recommended for eating some traditional French and Norman dishes

A friendly and caring “boss”. A delicious camembert, apple and calvados brick and a tartare made from very good beef delighted us. Very fresh accompaniments (some come from his garden).
Worth the detour!
