It's been a long time since my husband and I ate such delicate and tasty dishes! We loved the food at this restaurant so much that we immediately reserved a table for another event in two months.

To celebrate my wife's birthday, we booked at the Restaurant l'Embrun in Brest, it was pure happiness... A very pleasant welcome, remarkable service. A delicious dinner, subtle dishes mixing the just-cooked John Dory fillet roasted with brown butter, play on textures around the artichoke and veal jus with shellfish. Beautiful little notes of crispiness on Kergo poultry garnished with brumal truffle, simmered with green beans and new shallots. Finally, dessert to end this dinner with a rice pudding mousse, milk jam, vanilla ice cream and milk opaline, one word Sublime! Thank you very much for this moment. My wife thanks you. See you soon

Table reserved on a Friday evening. As soon as we arrived, we were immediately taken care of with a most pleasant welcome in a cozy and intimate setting.
We headed for a five-plate service. When making our choice and bringing it to the attention of one of the waitresses, the latter told us that we could let the chef create the surprise instead of choosing our different dishes from the menu. It was a nice surprise to see ourselves guided by the chef.
The divine appetizers sparkled in the mouth like July 14 fireworks. The starter with the snacked cuttlefish was incredible and the starter with the ravioli was divinely perfect. Concerning the dishes, the Galician veal was perfectly mastered, concerning the milk-fed lamb, its low temperature cooking made it different although I was accustomed to this cooking method but it was a first with the lamb which I was not familiar with. not a fan at all, after all it depends on each person, it's just a personal opinion. The dish with the Langoustine du Guilvinec was divine but a real shame in terms of the quantity, only one langoustine placed on its celery root puree. Nothing to say about the pollack, perfectly mastered. The big strong point of the dishes was the perfect mastery of the sauces which I would like to highlight.
In terms of dessert, the textures were really surprising with a lot of lightness.
Small downside on the sommelier who I think is a beginner because not really any advice provided, we went for a bottle of Quincy to start and had pre-finished the meal accompanied by a bottle of St Nicolas de Bourgueil. The tablecloth did not really appreciate the different passages. We unfortunately feel the latter's inexperience which I think must begin so we feel a little uncomfortable for him and we encourage him despite everything to continue this beautiful adventure of a most atypical profession.
A big strong point for setting up a very pleasant patio smoking area while remaining in a cozy atmosphere.
Finally, we found it a shame not to have been able to meet the chef to congratulate him but also to raise various points.
We are not taste professionals but as an “ordinary” customer, I think it is important to share our comments to only improve this beautiful establishment surrounded by a superb young and dynamic team.
To conclude, a great experience but unfortunately on which we had set the bar a little too high, I think. We will repeat it in a while to get a second opinion.

dans une ambiance moderne , dépouillée , le bleu indigo domine; tout était parfait dans le déroulé du repas et le service ;à chaque plat y compris les amuses bouche et les mignardises du café c'est un tableau surprenant et inédit , un régal pour les yeux et ensuite pour les papilles . les produits du terroir sont mis en valeur et superbement cuisinés .nous avions choisi le menu plaisir :ravioles d'araignée ,filet de barbue ,langoustines caramélisées ,assiette de 5 fromages bretons ,blanc mangé au kiwi ,plus qu'un plaisir un ravissement .
