Everything is always perfect. My husband wanted beef fillet with pepper sauce, and they made him an excellent dish—one he'll definitely ask for again! The chef, Lionel, is very attentive to his customers. A must-stop in Valenciennes.

02/06/2026: Exceptional setting, a very pleasant first spa experience! The second time spent under the glass roof was absolutely sublime and relaxing. Unfortunately, for this second experience, the Mojito had very little rum, an opinion confirmed by my partner. I should have mentioned it, but I didn't dare...
31/05/2026: We stayed at the hotel several months ago, and the bar more recently. The hotel and restaurant were impeccable. The location was superb, and the staff were friendly and professional. However, the bar (with its glass roof) was a disaster. We ordered cocktails in the evening, and they cost €15 for pre-mixed drinks with no attempt at presentation whatsoever. Then, on another visit, we ordered ice cream (which was listed on the menu without any explanation) on a Sunday afternoon. The response was, "Not possible, the kitchens are closed." But they served ice cream to a table near us "because they had ordered earlier" (and they waited 30 minutes for their precious ice cream). Then we asked for a glass of white wine. They were out of white wine. On a Sunday afternoon in a hotel/bar/restaurant of this size, there's no white wine? The staff, while very friendly, seemed helpless. There is clearly a problem with the bar's offerings and organization, which is, after all, the primary showcase of this luxury hotel.

Le Feu au Lac

21/06/2026: Lovely terrace, pleasant and efficient service. On this Fête de la Musique, there were four excellent singers. The music was a bit too loud, though. Andouillette sausage, fries, and then delicious profiteroles! A really great place!
21/06/2026: A wonderful Communion day at Quai 70. The food was delicious, and the staff were fantastic. Thank you for making our day so lovely, and all the best to everyone. Sylvie C.
