L'Entracte sur Le Grand-Bornand

Lunch in the sunshine in March was lovely. The end of the season was evident, few people and the staff seemed tired... a bit cold, which was a shame. Otherwise, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, the bill was a little steep, but you treat yourself on vacation. 🙏

We had a wonderful time at the restaurant. The fondue was excellent, as were the desserts. The portions were generous, the staff very friendly, and the decor incredible!

Excellent place to stay. Far from the tourist traps at the foot of the slopes...

Perfect mountain ambience, with a great vibe. I had the most delicious parmigiana - creamy aubergine cooked to perfection, followed by the dessert special - pear and choc tart, crispiest, shortest pastry, yum. My companion had the entrecôte, cooked bleu, and the pistachio choux, all sublime. Great service and atmosphere - a must visit!

I'm not giving it 5 stars because we had a problem with a waitress at the bar (specifically, an English woman wearing a beanie). She was apparently with her friends who were on vacation. They were playing darts but had been throwing for at least 30 minutes without paying (so it was pointless). We politely asked her to give us a table so we could play a game, but she refused. We had to be very insistent, at least 10 minutes. Shameful for someone who claims to be a professional; she was disdainful and impolite and shouldn't be interacting with customers. Otherwise, I highly recommend this place. The staff is very pleasant, truly excellent, thank you for everything. We ate at the bar and in the restaurant. The atmosphere was perfect. In the restaurant, pizza, tartiflette, duck breast—everything was really delicious, made with fresh ingredients. Thank you for these great moments! 👌

Second time we've come and we're still satisfied!

Adorable little restaurant, beautifully decorated. They offer really good Italian dishes, especially for native Italians 😊 The service is very friendly and the prices are reasonable. This is the second time we've come to your restaurant during our holidays and it's been excellent both times 😊

We ate there on Monday evening, February 9th. The pizzas and roasted vegetables were excellent. The service was cheerful and friendly. Thank you, it was fantastic! We highly recommend it.
