We get takeaway pizzas and they're good. But please specify how you like your pizza cooked; sometimes the egg isn't cooked properly.

A very good pizzeria that could benefit from improving its stock and speed of service. I've been going there for 20 years; the food and atmosphere are excellent, but two things spoil it. First, the service is very slow, the slowest in the village. Second, it's a shame they so often run out of items. In three visits in one week, they didn't have the desserts I wanted each time, and the same goes for the pasta. It's a real shame because it's otherwise a pleasant place.

Honestly, this pizzeria is a great place! I've been a few times and I've never been disappointed. The pizzas are delicious, generously topped, with a perfect (nice and thin!) crust. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients and the expertise. The welcome is always warm, and the staff is friendly and helpful. It's a place where you feel comfortable, whether you're eating in or taking away. I highly recommend it; it's a really great pizzeria! 😊

As every year, we had dinner at this pizzeria. It was perfect, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal—generous portions, quick service, and a big thank you to the new waitress who is very pleasant, always smiling, and always has a kind word for us. She's helpful and available. We'll be back next year.

26/08/2026: For the past four summers, we've been coming to Le Grand Bornand-le Chinaillon, and each time we visit Le Dérapage, several times during our stay, and we're never disappointed! A cozy and elegant restaurant, with a lively bar next door. Live concerts are regularly held on the terrace, making summer evenings truly magical. It's a family-run establishment, evident in its warm welcome and impeccable service, as well as its cuisine. Indeed, the menu offers—in addition to dishes made with quality local products—dishes from Italy, the country of origin of the owners. Classic dishes (Savoyard fondue, tartiflette, etc.) and original creations (Nduja risotto with prawns: an explosion of flavor!), all perfectly prepared, generous, and delicious. Not to mention the refined and flavorful homemade desserts; we opted for an Affogato al Caffè, drizzled with amaretto: the perfect ending to an excellent meal. Whether for an intimate dinner with gourmet dishes or for a relaxed drink accompanied by platters, Dérapage is an unmissable address to spend a pleasant time with family and/or friends.
