Vores besøg på L’Envers du Decor hævede sig desværre ikke mærkbart over det middelmådige.
Forretten var italiensk inspireret - en arancini (risottokugle) med lidt sauce og en enkel rucola salat. Udmærket.
Hovedretten var oksekæbe i rødvin med kartofler, urter og svampe. Oksekødet var desværre meget sejt, hvilket er en klar fejl, for da der er tale om en simreret, skal kødet være helt mørt og nærmest falde fra hinanden ved serveringen.
Tarte Tatin’en var en moderne version og var rigtig lækker og blev serveret med en kugle vanilleis og små æbletern. Dagens bedste ret.
Da niveauet for de tre retter er noget svingende - hhv. 3, 2 1/2 og 4 - lander vi desværre kun på et 3-tal.

Great classic French bistro food. We stumbled here when it was very busy and they were able to fit us in! We expected it to be a bit of a trap due to the location but boy were we wrong! The food was excellent, as was the wine. It’s pricey, but the food is worth the price. We enjoyed the tartar, steak and fish dish!

World class! Everything tastes great, is a bistro with a high noise level, service accordingly. But the food is perfect, all the dishes as well as the fine wines that were recommended. Toilet fresh.

We had dinner on the terrace, it is beautiful and with a very pleasant atmosphere. Food of very good quality and very well presented. The nice team. 100% recommended.

This was a lovely restaurant, obviously popular. We found the décor inside interesting as we passed through to the surprisingly large courtyard at the back which was shaded by plenty of large umbrellas. We arrived early but the courtyard was soon full. Menus were displayed on blackboards in both French and English. Presented with such a wonderful choice we found it difficult to choose. The food was excellent, beautifully presented and thoroughly enjoyed - as was the wine. The oysters, the calves’ liver with raspberries and the crème brulee were especially enjoyable as was everything else the six of us ordered. Service was friendly and efficient.
