Disappointed by the unclean premises. In the restrooms: very dirty walls and baseboards, as well as some walls in the restaurant where splashes are visible. The hole in the middle of the tables serves as a trash can and is neglected, even though it's supposed to be for mussel shell buckets. The service was average; the staff were pleasant, but there was too long a wait to order, and three empty shell buckets weren't emptied as needed. As for the food, the mussels and fish and chips were very good, however, the fries weren't homemade, and the cooking oil wasn't changed frequently enough.

A very good restaurant in the franchise. The dining room is quite spacious and the atmosphere is pleasant. Our server, Omar, was excellent.

We waited in line for a while, but the food that arrived was delicious. We had mussels with Roquefort cheese and mussels with cheese sauce on a plate. The crème brûlée was also very good. Mr. Kenan helped us with everything. We would like to go again on our next visit.

A fantastic first experience! Delicious food, a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, and a truly warm welcome. The service was impeccable: smiling, efficient, and very pleasant servers. We had a wonderful time and I'll gladly return! 😊

18/09/2026: A wonderful discovery! My mother, my friend, and I came for dinner and had a truly excellent time. The setting is lovely, the welcome warm, and the service impeccable from start to finish. The menu is extensive, with plenty of choices, and above all, everything we ate was absolutely delicious. The dishes were well-prepared, generous, and flavorful. A fantastic place where you eat well and feel comfortable. We will definitely be back! I highly recommend it. 👌😊
30/08/2026: It was disappointing; the presentation of the main courses was poor, and the waitress was impatient. A bit pricey for what it was.

07/09/2026: One of the restaurants I miss the most since moving to the South of France! L’Orée du Bois is everything I love in a restaurant: elegance, refinement, conviviality, and above all, truly delicious food! The cuisine is sophisticated, generous, made with real ingredients, and the prices are fair considering the quality you find on your plate. It just goes to show that you can offer beautiful, refined cuisine without charging exorbitant prices! Just thinking about it makes me hesitate… your foie gras or your avocado-crab religieuse? 🤤 Mmm… Now that’s real food, just the way I like it! And it’s not just the food. The owners are incredibly kind. The chef always takes the time to come out of the kitchen to greet the customers, chat, and make sure everything went well. And when Madame comes to take our order, she always has a kind word, a smile, a thoughtful touch that makes us feel truly welcome. That's what makes all the difference: excellent food served by people who are genuinely kind, approachable, and passionate about their work. Since moving to the South of France, this is definitely one of the places I miss the most. I hope to have the chance to pop in and say hello again during a future visit… and especially to dine at your table again! ❤️ Don't change a thing. You're one of those restaurants that you remember fondly, even long afterward.
19/07/2026: Delicious food, served in a cool, cool spot near the forest. One small complaint: the dessert was too sweet for me.
