Leonard de Vinci sur Tours

We didn’t have a reservation on a rainy Sunday and were given the option of 3 different 2-top tables on the ground floor. Those who had a reservation were seated on the floor above. We ordered an entree+plat combo. Squid salad + faux filet de bœuf and the velouté carrote + truffled tagliatelles with foie gras and prosciutto. We also sampled the only by-the-glass red from Val de Loire on the menu. 1- dishes are artfully presented; 2-meats and foie gras are cooked to perfection ; 3- value for price paid (on the low side); 4- service was a mix of kind & hospitable (woman) and proud & discriminating (man); 5-building and dining room had so much character. It was a lovely first meal in Tours!

We went to dinner at Léonard de Vinci restaurant in Tours, and the experience was incredible. It's a charming and very welcoming place, located in a historic building that makes it even more special. The food surprised us greatly: it's a very well-executed fusion of Italian cuisine and high-quality local French products, something that makes it quite unique compared to other restaurants. Everything was carefully prepared and delicious, in line with what we had seen in other reviews. But without a doubt, one of the highlights was the service. The waiter was very attentive and friendly at all times, and he recommended excellent wines. Furthermore, since we were traveling to the Champagne region the next day, he suggested some lesser-known but high-quality options, as well as local wineries to visit, which was a great suggestion. All in all, a perfect dinner and highly recommended if you're looking for a special experience in Tours.

We had a wonderful evening! The venue and the warm welcome were perfect! We thoroughly enjoyed the generous, flavorful cuisine from start to finish, a true taste of Italy, all at a perfect price (excellent value for money)! We will definitely be back and will recommend it without hesitation! Thank you for this wonderful discovery and culinary journey.

Good restaurant, good food, refined and substantial, the service was a little slow due to high demand; they could use a waitress. I recommend going early for the evening service.

What can I say?! A fantastic restaurant with wonderful, professional waitresses, and our very funny waitress was a delight. The food was top-quality; we savored the truffle tagliatelle and the semi-cooked foie gras. Even the desserts were excellent. I highly recommend it. And contrary to other reviews, I think the menu price reflects the delicious food served. I will definitely be back.
