L'Epee sur Quimper

Visited on a day trip to Quimper mainly due to its history with the artist community over the years and it was a great lunch, food wonderful, great price and lovely staff team.

Amazing food and atmosphere. We enjoyed every moment.

The food was very tasty and the welcome was warm. The tableware was also refined, as was the interior decoration.

We came without a reservation and the welcome was fantastic. The waiter was funny, friendly, and welcoming. As for the food, the sushi rice was dry and too cold (probably due to refrigerated storage), but the pâté was delicious with a nice little toasted slice. The two "crying tiger" rolls lived up to their name; they were delicious and reasonably priced. The decor was chic and pleasant. A nice touch: bag hooks were provided (on the wrong side of the table).

An excellent restaurant in Quimper – a warm and delicious experience guaranteed! We've dined at L'Épée three times and have been delighted each time. Whether it was for lunch in October for two people or for two dinners at the end of June (first as a group of six, then as a group of three), the experience has always been outstanding. A huge thank you to the entire team for their professionalism, especially during our first dinner in June: despite an unexpected power outage, the staff remained exemplary, attentive, and reassuring in a darkened dining room. The following day, with a different team, the service was just as impeccable, despite the arrival of a large group at the same time as us. A big thank you to the very pleasant waitress and the young waiter for his attentive and careful service. As for the food, it's flawless. In October, we loved the buckwheat tagliatelle and the chuck roast Rossini-style (hearty and delicious). In June, we enjoyed a variety of dishes, including Caesar salad, mussels marinière, crispy goat cheese, Thai-style steak tartare, and sirloin steak prepared "The Weeping Tiger," with perfectly balanced and delicate seasoning. Everything was excellent. Special mention goes to the desserts, particularly the pavlova and the very original and elegant buckwheat and popcorn ice cream sundae. The price-quality ratio is very reasonable (main courses between €17 and €25). Also much appreciated: the option to split the bill and the acceptance of restaurant vouchers. A beautiful spot with a lovely aroma and excellent food.

We arrived a little late, but we had no problem getting a table. The welcome was very friendly and the food was excellent.

A sure thing for years! My favorite restaurant, never disappointed. Delicious bistro-style cuisine, top-notch service, and a consistently pleasant atmosphere. A place I love and recommend without hesitation. You can go there with your eyes closed.

A must-try in the heart of Quimper's historic center. Welcomed by a young woman who was as pleasant as she was charming (or perhaps the other way around...), we were seated at a lovely, slightly secluded table. The menu offers something for everyone. The €32 set menu is very comprehensive and a great value. The dishes are delicious and homemade; you can tell immediately, in addition to the presentation and the generous portions. I recommend the terrine (successful) as a starter, the sardines as a main course, and the profiteroles for dessert, whose choux pastry has a delightful crunch... Yum! As you can tell, I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant, where the welcome and service are impeccable.

We come to this restaurant every week and it's always a real pleasure. The waitstaff is lovely, always attentive, and the welcome is truly warm. We almost feel at home. The food is excellent, with a menu that changes regularly, allowing us to discover new flavors with each visit. The fact that the restaurant is open every day is also a real plus. Thank you to the whole team for your kindness and professionalism; we will return again and again with great pleasure!
