Fantastic restaurant in the heart of Tarbes, in a quiet neighborhood. We had a wonderful dinner on the terrace last night. The food was excellent. The ribeye and tournedos were perfectly cooked. The desserts were delicious. Thank you to the servers, and especially to the charming young brunette with the lovely accent. We will gladly return on our next visit to Tarbes.

We received a wonderful welcome and enjoyed a very pleasant evening seated on the terrace. It was surprisingly quiet considering how busy it was. The food was perfect: steak tartare, perfectly cooked meats and fish – everyone from 9 to 89 years old loved it. We will definitely be back! My only complaint is that the menu on the website isn't up to date (I was drooling over the lamb shank, which wasn't on the menu when we visited), and there's no children's menu listed. I made sure by phone that there was one.

23/08/2026: 🥩 A superb spot for meat lovers We booked a table for 11 at L’Authentique in Tarbes to celebrate a birthday, and we had a fantastic evening! 🎂🥳 I ordered the royal ribeye steak, and honestly… it was amazing! 🥩🔥 The meat was excellent, perfectly cooked, and incredibly flavorful. Everyone at the table thoroughly enjoyed it, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. A great place to eat in Tarbes, especially for meat lovers! We will definitely be back. Well done to the whole team at L’Authentique! 👌😋

08/09/2026: We came to eat at this place, very good food at a very good price!! We were very well served by a young, dark-haired man in a purple t-shirt (September 7th). Thank you for your welcome. We ate on the terrace, and during the meal, the only major drawback was the smell of the nearby garbage! It bothered me towards the end... Otherwise, I recommend this place.
24/08/2026: We had a fantastic time at the Maubourguet festival this weekend thanks to the Galopins! Despite the huge crowds, they kept things running smoothly. Well done to everyone for all your hard work and good cheer! The duck was excellent, thank you!
