L'Epicerie Du Terroir sur Embrun

Very nice setting next to the square and excellent staff/service. We received a very warm welcome and the chef was able to adapt the dish for my daughter who has a food intolerance. The meal was delicious. A very good experience!

Among all the restaurants in the area, this grocery store is truly a hidden gem. It's located on a charming little square in the heart of Embrun. It offers authentic cuisine featuring local recipes. The welcome is warm and friendly; it was a real favorite!

- Welcome + Service: Very friendly even without a reservation and despite it being busy. Service was fairly quick, but all the tables were full, so the wait wasn't a problem at all. - Location: In the main square of the village - Parking: 200 meters away, very large and convenient, free - Decor + Size of the place: Very cute, with all the tables outside and red and white checked tablecloths. - Cleanliness: Good - Food: We had two "Oreilles d'Âne," which aren't donkey ears as you might think, but a kind of layered green lasagna topped with spinach sauce, béchamel, and cheese. They serve it in oval ceramic bowls. On the side, a green salad with fried onion, a slice of melon, red cabbage, and two slices of coppa. We then had a panna cotta with jam and a chocolate cake with a warm center and whipped cream. One of the best we've ever had. Tried Liefman beer for the first time, a sweet, fruity beer, very good. - Portions: generous, even the dishes we saw at other tables were really large and beautifully plated. - Bill: €63 in total, which I'd say was excellent considering what we ate. - Payment options: debit cards accepted
