Les 2 Pieds Sous la Table sur Aurillac

We were welcomed last night for a family dinner on the terrace overlooking the square, under the cherry trees, and we had a wonderful time. The service was excellent, with a very professional and friendly waitress. The menu was superb, featuring high-quality local products. We especially loved the Vietnamese udon noodles and the delicious shrimp broth! We will definitely return and recommend it!

It's true: you should know there's a restaurant in that alley! I'd been to Maria's, the seamstress next door, ten times, but never really noticed the window display, even though it's cute. Then one day, quite by chance, we found ourselves there: it was delicious, the chef is a real chef, meaning he cooks, and very well at that. We've been back a few times since. For lunch, it's excellent value for money; in my opinion, paying four euros more than the frozen and fried food in the city center is really worth it. For dinner (we went once this summer as a couple), the food is fit for a king, the menu is worthy of a truly good restaurant, the kind that's all too rare in Aurillac. A must-try, and worth repeating.
