Our last restaurant of the trip, and certainly one of the best! The place is warm and welcoming, and the staff is very friendly. We received excellent service and were warmly welcomed. The daily specials are superb, with a special mention for the crème brûlée (a true 10/10!). We highly recommend it. Thank you so much!

Bachelorette party.
Our waitress was lovely and took great care of us. However, we were very disappointed with the bartender. After ordering cocktails, which cost €12 each and were served in glasses that were far too small, we asked for proper cocktail glasses! The bartender didn't appreciate this at all and openly mocked his customers! In a restaurant that aims for a certain level of quality, this is unacceptable! Fortunately, the waitress and the head bartender were very understanding, and proper cocktails were served! The rest of the evening went very well!

A mixed bag of a lunch experience... The setting is fantastic, the service excellent, and the food is good and well-prepared, but the menu is "simple," the kind you find everywhere in La Rochelle... where have the sophisticated and innovative dishes gone?!
It's a shame that this bold cuisine is no longer available.

Les 4 Sergents in La Rochelle, 49 rue Saint-Jean-du-Pérot. We gladly return. The setting, under the historic glass roof, is simply superb, and the "chic yet relaxed brasserie" atmosphere is perfectly achieved. The service is both friendly and efficient. As for the food, the dishes were excellent from start to finish. We highly recommend it!
