A very good restaurant in La Rochelle for celebrating an event. Good food, a nice wine cellar with excellent sommelier recommendations. An experience to repeat without hesitation.

We were very satisfied with the evening, which had a great atmosphere and excellent food. However, we were extremely surprised by the price of a glass of wine, which cost €20 and contained barely 10 cl. The value for money seemed rather questionable.

A great place, cozy atmosphere and refined cuisine. The only slight drawback was the pressure from the head waiter to take our order; we'd only been there for 10 minutes before we were already being asked to choose our dessert!

Le Bistro du Marche

05/08/2026: A fantastic place with excellent coffee/tea. The atmosphere is great and the service is just as good! Highly recommended.
30/07/2026: La Brûlerie du Marché has become a must-visit for me and is one of those simple everyday pleasures. The setting is welcoming, right in the heart of the market, and the atmosphere on the sunny terrace in the morning is truly delightful, not to mention the excellent coffee. Without a doubt, the best coffee in town. Special mention to Clara and her colleagues, who are always incredibly welcoming, smiling, and attentive. Thank you for all your positive energy!

La Boussole

27/09/2026: Excellent restaurant. Very good value for money. We especially loved the duck breast and the fish casserole.
27/09/2026: If I had to sum it up in one word, it would be "EXCELLENT!" From our two main courses and desserts to the service, it was a truly delightful experience. Thank you.
