Overall, I was quite disappointed… The pasta was very good and the portions were generous, but the pizzas were rather disappointing due to their size (only 4 small slices) – although they were still very tasty. Similarly, the tiramisu was also quite small. The staff was very friendly, but the service was inconsistent (even though it wasn't rush hour). It's a shame!

Nice atmosphere and great service! Food is good but not great. Mozzarella was too thick, and pasta al carbonara were not amazing, tasted too much like peas and eggs in the sauce were a bit scrambled, even if it was still good.

The pizza was good, but not very big, and the prawn pasta dish was good. I paid at the table, but as I was leaving the manager asked me if I had paid properly :) Do they ask this kind of question to a certain "customer base"?

Pizza Il Forno

10/10/2026: One of the best pizzerias in Lyon, with fairly affordable prices and very high-quality pizzas. I recommend it 1000%!
05/10/2026: I just moved to Lyon and, as an Italian, it was essential that I find a good pizza! I think I've found it! 😉 I've ordered takeout twice now: the toppings are generous, the tomato sauce is delicious, and the crust is thick and incredibly flavorful. Well done, Italy! 🇮🇹
