A truly wonderful restaurant that we wholeheartedly recommend! The bistronomic cuisine is refined and perfectly executed. The menus offer excellent value for money. The service is friendly and efficient. The beautiful building adds a great deal of charm to the place, and the terrace is a real asset for enjoying a meal in the summer in a very pleasant setting.

Over rated We were very excited about our meal but left feeling deflated. Staff were arrogant, food was good but a bit OTT. I appreciate it is a Michelin starred restaurant but it was more about presentation than anything else. €140 for two. One fairly cheap bottle of wine. Personally I wouldnt go back

We had the lunchtime menu (available during the week). Amazing food for an unbeatable price. Every dish was amazing. Excellent wine and attentive service. The terrace is lovely.

While passing through Chinon, we dined at this superb gourmet restaurant and the experience was perfect. We ate very well, from the appetizer to the dessert. The dishes were as beautiful as they were delicious. A restaurant not to be missed if you are in the area!

We discovered this restaurant before leaving Chinon, and what a pleasant surprise! We opted for the weekday lunch menu: starter, main course, a glass of wine, and a coffee (€28). All the ingredients were there for a wonderful experience, thanks to truly refined cuisine and meticulous presentation, a warm welcome and excellent service, all in a pleasant setting and at an affordable price. Very good value for money. We highly recommend this restaurant.

17/06/2026: One of my favourite places in Chinon. Great wine served with a smile by the knowledgeable owner. Perfect setting in the nicest street in this lovely town and with a great view of the Chateau. Cheese and charcuterie platters are the perfect accompaniment. A very special place.

26/07/2026: We came to eat with my partner. Impeccable service, very professional waiters. Delicious food. I ordered a Bo Bun salad and my partner had a saddle of lamb. We have rarely eaten such well-prepared dishes and such perfectly cooked meat. For dessert, the tiramisu was also excellent, not too heavy. The cocktail was also excellent. We highly recommend it and will definitely return if we are ever in Chinon again.

The products are fresh and high-quality, and we particularly appreciate that they come from local Chinon businesses. The value for money is excellent. A great place that I highly recommend, whether for a coffee, a meal, or a sweet treat. Well done to the whole team!
