We discovered this restaurant before leaving Chinon, and what a pleasant surprise! We opted for the weekday lunch menu: starter, main course, a glass of wine, and a coffee (€28). All the ingredients were there for a wonderful experience, thanks to truly refined cuisine and meticulous presentation, a warm welcome and excellent service, all in a pleasant setting and at an affordable price. Very good value for money. We highly recommend this restaurant.

This establishment is exceptional! Recommended by the owner of our bed and breakfast, "Le Clos de Ligré," we were not disappointed by the quality of this restaurant in any respect: - The welcome, with a warm and genuine smile and a hostess who knows how to make her guests feel at ease, offering a choice of tables inside or outside: fantastic! - The selection of menus, starters, main courses, desserts, and wines: superb! - The quality of the food and its presentation: superb! - The service, provided by a charming and exceptionally kind waitress, as well as by the restaurateurs themselves, with the chef even coming to serve you at your table: extremely rare! - The setting and location: quintessentially Chinon! - The bill: reasonable! Considering the quality of the ingredients and the wide variety of dishes we enjoyed, it was more than justified. Quite frankly, this passionate couple, who have been delighting their guests for over 23 years, deserved a Michelin star ⭐️ from our friends in Clermont-Ferrand long ago. Ladies and gentlemen, taste testers for the Michelin Guide, on your next trip to the region, you'll know where to go and, above all, treat your taste buds. Please give these passionate food and restaurant owners the recognition they deserve! If only some could come and train with Karine and Stéphane, the world of gastronomy would be a much better place 😉 Thank you again for this wonderful experience, and above all, don't change a thing, stay just as you are!
