A… conceptual experience.
The Caesar salad came with olive oil ice cream so sweet that I spent part of the meal wondering if it had been switched with the dessert.
Then came the chef's "techno" dessert: peas, wasabi mousse, strawberry/red berry ice cream and coulis, parmesan crisps… On paper, it's audacious. On the plate, I mostly felt like I was witnessing a meeting of flavors that had never intended to be together.
I like being surprised at restaurants. Here, I was mostly surprised that someone had tasted it before serving. Two stars for the service and the audacity (because it took some).

Tucked away on a street in Albi, near the cloister, are two restaurants: Calvi and Les Arcades! What a delightful discovery, dining at the foot of the arcades on a pleasant terrace. The young staff is very welcoming, smiling, and energetic. The service was quick. The dishes were excellent, with a very affordable set menu (starter, main course, dessert). We had a very enjoyable time on a less-visited street. An address to remember; we'll gladly return.

We made a reservation by phone the day before, but it hadn't been noted on the day itself… Luckily, the restaurant was empty, so we were able to eat. The starter, gazpacho with cucumber and fresh goat cheese, was excellent, but the main course, pasta with duck liver, was really just okay; the liver was still cold inside… Dessert was good. The waiter was fairly friendly, but nothing special.

My wife and I came for dinner and everything was truly excellent, with very reasonable prices. I tried the beef tartare and loved it! You can tell the ingredients are fresh and of very high quality. As for the service, if I could give six stars, I would without hesitation. I highly recommend this place!
