Excellent week! The instructors were very encouraging, the snow was exceptionally incredible, and the weather was perfect. And the scenery was simply magnificent.

For a complete winter experience, you can find everything from dog sledding to goat farm visits, the food is really excellent, the ski slope is easily accessible, and there are many other activities offered by the town to please young and old.

Tranquil lake, with beautiful autumn colours at this time of year. Pathway all around the lake. Dog friendly.

30/03/2026: We ordered from here for takeaway pizzas only. 5 stars for friendly helpful staff, and super quick preparation time (ready in 15 minutes from when we called). 4 stars for atmosphere (a little unfair because we didn’t actually eat here, but this is from the perspective of what we saw when we came into the restaurant to pick up the food etc). 3 -4 stars for the actual pizza - it wasn’t amazing, but for a French alps restaurant it was good enough and all we could hope / expect for a pizza takeaway. Would still recommend for that purpose
