Braise – La Cave is much more than a wine bar or a communal table: it's a true hub for living and meeting.
Behind the project is Alex, the owner, originally from Canada, who envisioned this place as a convivial space centered around wine, food, and conversation. Here, the evening begins with a meal… and very often ends with sharing glasses—or bottles—between tables, sometimes until late into the night.
From the moment you enter, the wine cellar sets the tone: impressive, well-organized, and coherent, reflecting a genuine commitment to curation. Burgundy, Loire, Rhône, Languedoc, Spain… You'll find both renowned classics and more exclusive estates, all carefully selected. Auxey-Duresses from Roulot, Vosne-Romanée, Gevrey-Chambertin from Jérôme Galeyrand, but also more free-spirited and vibrant wines like La Barathassade, Danjou-Banessy, Olivier Horiot in Les Riceys, Gabouchons… A wine cellar designed for discerning enthusiasts, but also for those curious to discover wines without pressure.
In the kitchen, the focus is on sharing and indulgence, with simple yet sophisticated dishes that perfectly complement the wines.
The platters are generous and beautifully executed, featuring high-quality ingredients, excellent meats and charcuterie, and perfectly balanced seasoning. Everything is designed to enhance the wine, without ever overpowering it.
But what truly sets it apart is the atmosphere. Here, people chat at the tables, bottles circulate, and conversations flow naturally. Alex fosters this spirit with remarkable ease: insightful advice, a warm welcome, and no pretense. You feel right at home, whether you come for a simple drink or a big night out with friends—or strangers who suddenly become friends.
Braise – La Cave is a genuine, vibrant, and deeply human place where you eat well, drink very well, and share good times. A place you visit once… and return to often.

If you wish to avoid comments (your response in my opinion), make sure not to position yourself on booking sites that harass customers to obtain a review, and perhaps be prepared to listen to some criticism.
