It was by chance that we stumbled upon the Cantal Islands, and what a wonderful discovery it was! The staff were discreet yet attentive to our satisfaction. The aligot sausage was delicious, and the "café gourmand" (gourmet coffee) lived up to its name! We enjoyed our table with its view of the valley. We highly recommend it.

We chose this restaurant for a quick lunch. We had to wait over 40 minutes after ordering to be served. So we ended up spending an hour and a half there, each eating just one crêpe and having a coffee.
The crêpe was good, but it wasn't worth the 40-minute wait. The service was far too slow.

Passing through Saint-Flour, dining at this establishment was a truly wonderful experience. One of the few open on a Sunday evening, and a remarkable one at that! The setting (right in the heart of old Saint-Flour!) and the service were incredibly warm and welcoming! A friendly atmosphere, delicious traditional and home-style dishes, and excellent value for money. In short, we had a fantastic evening and will definitely return on our next trip.

We booked at the last minute for today. We received a very warm welcome. We had a wonderful meal. The service was pleasant, the staff very friendly and attentive; they gave us time to enjoy our aperitif and eat at our leisure. The savory crepes were delicious, the pan-fried stuffed cabbage with aligot was excellent, the steak was very tender with a very good aligot, and the steak was also very tender with fries (the steak was cooked perfectly). The homemade sweet crepes were excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant.

A must-visit in Saint-Flour! 🥞 Whether I'm alone or with friends, I'm never disappointed: it's always so delicious. The owner recognizes me spontaneously even after a year, it's amazing! The team is lovely (big shout-out to Marie! 🙌).
