A restaurant with homemade dishes.
I eat lunch there regularly during the week and am never disappointed. A lunch menu with a choice of two starters, two main courses, and two desserts.
This lunch was very good and served quickly following a brief message to inform the person who handled it very well, and I thank them very much.
Very happy to come back to eat from time to time. The menu is very good. I highly recommend it for a moment of escape during your lunch break.
We've eaten at this restaurant several times and generally had a good time. However, our last experience, during a Sunday meal, was quite disappointing.
We chose the Sunday menu: the dishes were good, certainly, but the presentation left something to be desired. For example, the cordon bleu was simply placed on the plate with... 12 fries. Yes, literally 12! No garnish, no side dish, nothing else.
We then asked for an extra small plate of fries to share between five people. The waitress's response was: "I'll check with the kitchen, there must be some left for the other customers." 😩🙄 Seriously? We had the impression that the fries were counted individually...
For dessert, I had a vanilla éclair: very good, homemade, a real treat. Unfortunately, the rhubarb tart was a real disappointment: a base resembling Turkish dessert vermicelli with about ten pieces of rhubarb on top... nothing like a real rhubarb tart.
Mixed assessment: the waitress is very friendly and cheerful, but there's a lack of professionalism in handling customer requests. The final annoying point: the smoke detector was beeping loudly, probably due to a dead battery... and we had to put up with this noise from dessert until coffee. Not exactly an ideal way to end a meal.
