Les Marmottes Restaurant sur Val-D'Isere

The place on the slopes that I visited most often for lunch. The food was delicious, the beer was at a good price. The problem is, there is a long wait to order and sometimes after you order there is no place to sit.

An excellent spot for lunch at the top of the slopes without breaking the bank. Generous portions and a wide selection. Spacious indoor areas (the mezzanine is great) and outdoor seating. Quick service: don't let the queue discourage you.

Excellent, fast, good value for money

Pasta for under €12.50. Great prices for a cabin in the ski resort.

The mountain cafeteria is not to be missed. We've been going there for years and have never been disappointed.

Family friendly restaurant with lots of choice. There are lots of outside and inside seats. Very reasonable prices. Great stop for a lunch on the mountain.

Highly recommended! Excellent value for money. The food is very good, with a special mention for the tartiflette, which is simply exceptional. For a self-service restaurant, the service is quite good: staff regularly come around to clear the tables. The atmosphere can get rather noisy at peak times, although it's still possible to have a conversation without too much difficulty. The setting is magnificent, with a superb view of the mountains, even more enjoyable if you're seated by a window. Ski access is very easy, with several slopes and chairlifts leading directly to the restaurant.

This self-service restaurant is very well located, right in the middle of the ski slopes, which is definitely a plus after a morning on the slopes. The place is very large, with a significant capacity, but this also means it gets very crowded and there are long queues, especially during peak hours. The food is decent for a self-service restaurant and, above all, very inexpensive, which is a real plus in a ski resort. However, the service is rather limited: not all the staff speak French (which might be surprising in France), and the organization is quite basic. The atmosphere is noisy and not very welcoming, but consistent with the concept and the size of the place. Personally, I'm not a big fan of self-service, but for a quick, cheap, and conveniently located meal, it does the job.

Thank you so much for maintaining such excellent value for money. We eat lunch there every day – we enjoyed every dish.
