We came to Le Pied de Poule before our visit to Biron Castle. What a pleasant surprise! The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The terrace and dining room were lovely and charming. The restrooms were spotless. The food was superb, there was a good selection, and the prices were very reasonable!

Beautifully prepared fresh food in an air conditioned area. Perfect for a delicious lunch to escape the heat. We had a toddler and a coeliac and they catered for both. Thank you so much!

On our way to lunch, we stopped at this restaurant, which is very inviting even from the outside. We received a very warm welcome and were seated in a beautiful, air-conditioned room. The service was quick, and we thoroughly enjoyed everything from the appetizer to the dessert—it was simply perfect.
A wonderful experience.
We will definitely return on our next vacation.

Once a popular pizzeria, now a smart brasserie/restaurant we took lunch here on a quiet Wednesday in late May. It's certainly an asset to Villeréal, being spaceous and well-equipped to cater for the hungry (and thirsty) holidaymakers who come here. We went à la carte starting with duck nems, followed by a tasty and copious Césare salad which in the end beat us. Café gourmand and profiteroles perfectly rounded off this meal. Their drinks menu is very comprehensive, but I particularly enjoyed the americano as an accompaniment to the food.

A pleasant and quiet place, with a lovely terrace where we had a very enjoyable time. The menu was varied and the daily special was very good. Thank you for your attention and consideration towards the customer.
