We had a very pleasant lunch last Friday in this restaurant located in a bucolic setting on the banks of the Armançon: the welcome, the service, the setting, and of course the delicious dishes offered by the Chef, a Maître Restaurateur! A very nice discovery in a magnificent city that deserves to be better known.

Fantastic, intimate place. The village of Semur-en-Auxois is the ideal setting for this little gem. Intimate atmosphere, quality food, and a friendly and extremely professional owner. Excellent!

Imagine yourself by a crackling fireplace: The hostess greets us with a smile. Our order placed, we didn't have to wait long for our eggs meurette (pictured). Delicious! Then we savored the pike-perch quenelles and the kidneys with three purées. We'll definitely be back to prolong the pleasure at the table. Thank you to the chef and his assistant. Just 8km from the motorway, this restaurant is well worth the detour.

A warm welcome for a very good and generous meal, made with quality ingredients. The owners have a complete mastery of their ingredients and were able to offer dishes adapted to my gluten intolerance (celiac), taking me seriously; thank you to them.

16/03/2026: Honestly, a really great kebab! The meat is flavorful, the bread is fresh, and the portions are generous. The staff is welcoming, and the service is quick. We come from Vitteaux without a reservation, with or without our children, and it's always a real treat! Honestly, I don't understand the negative reviews, because everything always goes very well during our visits, and above all, they always ask us before we leave if everything was alright... Which just goes to show you sometimes have to form your own opinion! Plus, they have very good falafel for vegetarians 🤤😋 I highly recommend it: you can go there without hesitation and on an empty stomach: a guaranteed delicious meal!!! 😊
