Les Ombres sur Paris

I’m not to write negative reviews often, but for what I’ve paid here I think this place could be so much better. My issue is with the food as everything else is above par. The food was bland, with weird taste at times. It felt like the chef was trying to over complicate the dishes to pass an air of sophistication but failing miserably. The place is great, with a nice view of the Eiffel Tower. The service is cool at welcome but during the food part multiple times we couldn’t understand what he said when explaining the course. Also no wine pairing. This is a place that would work better as a bar you to for some drinks and then leave to go somewhere better to eat. If you go visit do it for the view and the photos you will take don’t go for the food.

Great view and great service, But the food is not the best thing about this place

The atmosphere was just perfect and the food was ok. You wouldn’t expect a Michelin level there but definitely worth a visit just for the view. No need to say that the place is super close to the Eiffel.

Good food and friendly atmosphere, the only negative point is our waiter with his shirt off and not very representative in the service for a gourmet restaurant like this one.

Simply superb. A must visit when in Paris in the evening for the food, ambience and stunning views of the Eiffel Tower lit up .

The quality of the food varied greatly. We didn't really like the main course. The chicken breast was partly tough and the sauce was not finely balanced. For the price I was actually expecting a really great gourmet experience, which unfortunately wasn't the case. The view of the Eiffel Tower is of course brilliant and unique. We thought we had the most expensive cappuccino on the Champs-Elysees at €12. We realized we were wrong. We paid €15 for a cup here. Even for us Swiss, this price is completely excessive and the restaurant should think about this pricing policy.

We were very impressed about the hospitality and the service mind of the staffs. They were all very kind to us in offering the best table with the best Eiffel Tower view, including all services after that. However, the food should be more value for money though it looked very nice and very delicious. With this price we paid, the ingredients should be more special and more expensive, not just ordinary ingredients.
