The restaurant is a bit dated and not very clean. It could use a good cleaning. The best thing about it: being on the Seine. Unpretentious cuisine, simple menu.

A very pretty location on the banks of the Seine, but quite close to the Île de la Jatte bridge, so a bit noisy and without a view. However, the shaded terrace where you can watch the rowers passing on the Seine is pleasant. I regret that this terrace isn't better maintained: damaged and broken floor tiles, dirty roofs, cobwebs everywhere, including in the rooms before you access the terrace. The avocado tartare and perfectly cooked salmon for my tataki were excellent. The Sprites were served in plastic stemmed glasses that looked like they'd seen better days! What a shame to have a restaurant with a casual, open-air style that's so poorly maintained, neglected, and a bit dirty...

Impeccable service and cuisine. The place could use a refresh. The photos on the website are very flattering. We were a little disappointed with the place itself, even though we enjoyed the riverside setting in the intense heat.

A wonderful discovery! We came for dinner with my baby in a stroller and received a very warm welcome. Despite a few small steps, the staff spontaneously helped us every time, which was much appreciated. The setting is truly lovely and the atmosphere very pleasant. The cocktails were excellent, as was the "crying tiger" cocktail, perfectly prepared and very tasty. A big thank you to the entire team for the quality of service, their kindness, and their attentiveness. We will gladly return! 😊🍹✨

The food was good and plentiful. The service was pleasant. The place seemed to be in need of maintenance; everything was a bit broken (chairs, floor, toilets...), but the terrace with its view of the Seine was very pleasant.

We celebrated our wedding at this restaurant in April 2026. The owners, Antoine and Charles, gave us a warm welcome, and communication was easy and pleasant. We and our guests greatly appreciated the quality of the meals, which were truly homemade. Thank you again to the whole team! We sincerely recommend Les Pieds dans l’Eau for a wonderful time with family or friends.

11/06/2026: A lovely, quiet spot I stumbled upon. A small, flower-filled terrace. A very warm welcome; the owner was incredibly attentive to my grandson. A good place for lunch before visiting the Fondation Louis Vuitton.

29/06/2026: Have been going to this restaurant four or five times a year for over a decade. It’s an old chestnut for my family but just had a pretty mediocre experience. The restaurant was pretty empty but it took a while for the waiter to serve us. Our table had smears and marks from the previous service and rather than wipe it with a cloth and put a tablecloth on it as was the case with all the other tables, the waiter who came to take our order, saw the table was dirty and wiped it off with the palm of his hand – that set the tone for the service for the rest of evening. Not sure what we did to elicit this off-hand manner but this old chestnut is now burned. I have been going to this restaurant four or five times a year for over ten years – it is a real institution for my family – but I have just had a rather mediocre experience there. The restaurant was quite empty, yet the waiter took a while to attend to us. Our table still bore traces and dirt from the previous service; Instead of wiping it down with a cloth and putting on a tablecloth like all the other tables, the waiter who came to take our order noticed it was dirty and simply wiped it with the palm of his hand. That set the tone for the rest of the evening. I don't know what could have prompted such carelessness, but this favorite spot is now ruined.
