A fantastic place to discover local cuisine and atmosphere. The carbonnade, the Welsh rarebit, and the tasting platter all won us over! The waiter was efficient and friendly, perfect. We loved the "half-inside, half-outside" table ;)

Fast and friendly service. We ate the moules marine and the moules flamand with fries. The mussel portions were small compared to what you get in Belgium. And the portion of fries is also small. However, both the mussels and the fries were well prepared. Although the beer in the mussels flamand didn't really come through and made little difference compared to the moules marine. Maybe they forgot the beer. All in all, it was fine, only the portions are really on the small side.

It was recommended to us but we were a little disappointed... the waiter was alone and a bit overwhelmed, the dishes took too long to arrive, and the shrimp croquettes dish was very expensive for what it was, it's a shame you couldn't taste the whole shrimp.

L' Estaminet Lillois

17/08/2026: Excellent food, excellent service, very warm and welcoming. The chef even came to ask if my friends and I had enjoyed our meal. The Lillois pub is also beautifully decorated; everything was exquisite: the beer, the food, the desserts, and the little glass of genever at the end ;)
