It's definitely worth a visit. We were actually just looking for shelter from a thunderstorm and were surprised with one of the most delicious meals of our vacation. The food was clearly prepared with love and good ingredients. Highly recommended.

Great place for lunch. Appears to be just one guy doing everything (well). 2 people 3 courses plus bottle of wine under 80euros. Dog friendly too

Authentic restaurant with generous, traditional cuisine. Excellent value for money. The owner is both a chef and a server. Very friendly. A great time to relax in a relaxing atmosphere.

08/12/2025: This hotel is well located: close to the activities Saumur has to offer, yet peaceful. Magnificent view of the town and its castle. The welcome was impeccable and pleasant. A true focus on customer service. The room we booked was perfect. The decor could use a refresh, as the gray, black, and red tones lack vibrancy. The breakfast is very generous and complete. The homemade pudding is amazing!
03/12/2025: Super spacious room with plenty of room to move around, even with a crib. Great view of Saumur Castle from the terrace! Very welcoming receptionist and a very good breakfast! Thank you ☺️

31/01/2026: Small, friendly restaurant with a limited menu but quality ingredients and well-prepared dishes.
12/10/2025: A wonderful surprise in this restaurant on the banks of the Loire, very welcoming. The menu is moderate because of the excellent produce, well-prepared, fresh, and delicious. The homemade foie gras is delicious. The eel matelote and the pikeperch with beurre blanc are a delight! Can't wait to go back!
