Les Sables Blancs sur Concarneau

Loved it and although we were warned we had pre booked a small room it was fine. Spotlessly clean and great service

An afternoon on the sun-drenched terrace, with a panoramic view of the bay of Concarneau, the sea rather calm. A magnificent view... Spritz galore (and what about moderation?!) and a very friendly and smiling waiter. I'll be back, of course...

We simply enjoyed the restaurant. Friendly staff, quick service, delicious and beautifully presented food, magnificent view. In short, a superb lunch.

This restaurant has appalling service. The staff is rude and ill-mannered. I was served an iced coffee in a glass that was chipped in two places. When I pointed it out, I was told they couldn't be everywhere at once. They offered no compensation whatsoever. This is a place to avoid. The photo he's replying to is from 2017, showing a different owner and different service. I stand by my recommendation: "Avoid at all costs." Choose a more charming place instead, or perhaps even a picnic on the beach at sunset.

Absolutely fantastic stay. We were made to feel very welcome by all the staff, who were very friendly and helpful. They should all be congratulated as it helped make our stay special. The room we stayed in was beyond our expectations with a wonderful view of the beach & sea.. We had a really nice evening meal, & what made it extra special for us is they allowed our well behaved dog to come into the restaurant as well. Hopefully we will be able to stay again in the future. Thank you for a really lovely stay at your fantastic hotel ❤️

A very beautiful hotel-restaurant in a great location "right on the sand"!

We spent two nights in this lovely hotel in Concarneau, in room 4 with a large terrace. The room was spacious, the bedding very comfortable, we slept very well, and everything was spotless. No complaints. The first evening we ate at the restaurant, and the staff was very pleasant. However, the food wasn't very flavorful (the wine suggestions—Sancerre and Châteauneuf-du-Pape—were rather mediocre, which was a shame). As for the shellfish, the lobsters were very small this year. The rib-eye steak was full of sinew, and the risotto was unremarkable—the only downside to our stay. The breakfast was plentiful and of good quality. The bar was also very good; the bartenders clearly enjoyed their work, and it showed in the drinks. In short, we will return on our next visit to Concarneau.

If you love falling asleep to the sound of the waves and a sea view, this hotel is for you. The breakfast is delicious and the staff is attentive – well done!

Friendly and attentive staff throughout, with a special low-season discount. Excellent cuisine (breakfast, daily specials, and dinner), top-notch value for money. Spacious rooms (all with sea views). A superb hotel, highly recommended.
