Good was average, staff are friendly and speak good English. Steak was good well (we ordered rare) but mixed salad is just lettuce with dressing. Charcuterie board tasted cheap. Escargot was very nice and steak tartar was good if a little heavy on the mayonnaise. Overall, we really enjoyed the atmosphere and staff but felt a little let down by the food

Adorable and delicious. We came as a group of four adults and one child. We received a very warm welcome, even when it was pouring! One small negative point: the children's ice cream scoop is tiny!

I highly recommend this restaurant; it's the only one I found in Annecy's old town where you can enjoy a fondue on your own without having to be with someone else! I had a morel mushroom fondue, and it was absolutely delicious. The staff was incredibly attentive, and the service was impeccable. 👍

We have come here on several occasions now and it never disappoints. Staff are extremely kind, friendly and accommodated for us. Definitely recommend.

We had a great experience! The service was excellent and the food was good. Our only complaint was about the traditional fondue, which had a strong wine flavor, but that's just a personal opinion.

15/08/2026: Much more than 4.7 stars!!! Everything is perfect: the welcome, the presentation, the dishes, the pâté en croûte, and the chocolate mousse—absolutely divine!! You absolutely must come! Bravo!!

Les Caves du Chateau

30/07/2026: We walked down from the chateau and happened to come across La Guinguette du Chateau. We asked if it was possible to have a drink, and the owner (bartender) who was working was very friendly to us and took an interest in where we came from. Speaking English was no problem, and we really thoroughly enjoyed our holiday feeling here. Thank you!
30/07/2026: We (3) had lunch here yesterday, a sharing platter and a croque monsieur. Local bottle of red as recommended as by the host. Lovely little establishment, I hope to come back to
