Dinner included a delicious, traditional tartiflette! We chose to sit inside for a quieter atmosphere and were served very well, haha! I highly recommend it!

Located in the very quiet "old town" of Annecy in August, this restaurant offers generous and delicious cuisine. The menu is small, high-quality, and varied, with options for gluten- and lactose-free diets and allergen information available. The service is quick, friendly, and professional. I highly recommend it.

Chez Frantz

20/09/2026: Excellent location and quality service. The manager is very welcoming and friendly. The portions are a little small for some dishes, but that's a great excuse to try the desserts!
17/09/2026: We ate on the terrace. The dish I originally wanted wasn't in season, but the very friendly owner recommended something else, which we tried. The local sausage was delicious. The other customers were also friendly, and we enjoyed chatting with them. I think there are probably a lot of local customers. It's a little far from the main tourist area, but I would recommend it to tourists as well. They are happy to help in English. Since it's a terrace seating area and the seats are on a narrow road, cars occasionally pass right next to you, but that was also interesting. I would like to go back to this restaurant if I have the chance. There aren't many seats, so reservations are essential.
