Excellent value for money. A small "Royal" town (from the time of Henry IV). Lots of charm and a truly royal welcome.

Nothing to complain about: the food was perfectly decent (the French toast in particular was delicious), and the waitresses, despite the rush (we were there last Saturday lunchtime for the heritage festival), were excellent. The owner could perhaps have displayed a more pronounced smile, but frankly, it's anecdotal.

On September 23rd, with a group of 17 people, we shared a simple, but very well-cooked lunch. The service was fast and very gracious by two dynamic and friendly young women. The entire staff was very welcoming. I will be back and recommend. The price is very reasonable.

Friendly staff and excellent food. We spoke enough French that the menu didn’t hinder us but the staff were willing to help translate or make a decision if we needed it. There’s a great lunch deal and the outdoor seating by the chateau is delightful.
