L'Escalier sur Fecamp

Nothing to say, delicious and the service was more than pleasant.

A Successful End-of-Trip Dinner A group of four of us visited L'Escalier restaurant at the end of our trip to Normandy. A great help was the waiter, who spoke fluent English, making ordering a breeze. The food was delicious and well-prepared. The kids got a large fish and chips with good fish. My husband ordered sea bass and was pleased with his choice. We also tried the Normandy-style mussels – he really enjoyed them. A nice gesture from the kitchen was serving three oysters instead of six, so I could sample them. They were fresh and delicious. The biggest hit of the evening, however, was the stingray – I had it for the first time in my life and was delighted! It was served with vegetables and jacket potatoes, and the generous amount of butter sauce on the plate made a brilliant combination. The stingray alone is worth visiting. The only downside was the fries – they were frozen, and with such good fish, homemade fries would have been a much better complement. Despite this minor detail, it was a very pleasant evening, and I'd happily return.

Fast service and very good food

I went to eat at this restaurant for lunch today, all the staff were very welcoming and friendly, I ordered a Normandy-style skate wing and mussels and fries with Roquefort cheese, the Roquefort sauce was really very good and the skate wing was cooked perfectly, I highly recommend this restaurant with very affordable prices, we will return with great pleasure.

At least one cook who knows how to cook fries! It was excellent, the staff were top-notch and attentive.

Charming little family-run restaurant, retaining its original character. I love it, everything is delicious, beautifully presented, and the staff are welcoming, smiling, and very friendly.

Very friendly service. Some of the food was good, the Toureaux was delicious, but the stingray fin was a bit tough. The price-performance ratio is okay, and the seating is very pleasant. The restroom was clean. I would come again.

What can I say? A warm welcome, friendly cuisine, I can't wait to go back. Don't hesitate, a very good place to eat.

We arrived by chance for a coffee and dessert and returned the next day for a meal (mussels). We enjoyed every moment. The staff were incredibly kind and professional, and the food was delicious. We went back to end our stay on a high note. I can only say one thing: try it, and you'll be hooked! A place to visit again and again. Thank you!
