L'escapade sur Villeneuve-D'Ascq

We came on the evening of February 28th, the food was excellent, and the waiter was super friendly! The service was quick and efficient. Plus, it wasn't expensive at all!

We went on a Friday evening, the restaurant was very, very quiet. We had starters and main courses, but unfortunately, we didn't have room for dessert because the portions were so generous. The food was excellent, the waiter was responsive and very friendly, and the prices were very reasonable. It was our first time there, but definitely not our last! 😊

What a treat!! I especially want to highlight the manager's good humor and kindness; he's passionate about what he does, and it shows. Very kind and accommodating with children too—perfect for families. The food is delicious, and the service is quick. I absolutely loved the appetizers! 😍

We've been to L'Escapade several times and have never been disappointed. The staff are friendly, pleasant, and attentive; and, importantly, they're accommodating to your needs. The cuisine is home-style, somewhere between a bistro and a brasserie. The atmosphere is warm and tastefully decorated. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The waiter was incredibly welcoming and helpful, doing everything to meet our needs and make us feel comfortable. The meal was generously portioned and very appetizing. The dishes were delicious. Just one disappointment with the dessert: a chocolate fondant that was still good, but not homemade... so we were expecting something homemade to match the quality of the other dishes. A slight lack of tranquility can be felt as some tables are quite close together. The restaurant and restrooms were spotless and hygienic. I highly recommend this restaurant because the value for money is excellent, which is becoming rare, and also for the warm welcome. Thanks to the very competent kitchen staff for making our meal so enjoyable! We frequented this restaurant for lunch and dinner 😉

A very nice experience at L'Escapade. The dishes are fresh, generous, and very well cooked. The staff is welcoming and very professional. Excellent value for money. I highly recommend it.
