The chef? A real character—like Obelix, he fell into the kitchen as a child.
The welcome and service are absolutely wonderful, sincere and warm.
And the cassoulet… a symphony of flavors!
A huge thank you to this magnificent conductor, a true master of cassoulet.
I can't wait to go back and make my taste buds sing again!

The cassoulet is excellent. All the products are locally sourced. The Audeline ice creams and their varied flavors: violet, rose, fig, cherry...
The manager is very kind and attentive to our every need. He cooks and serves, hence the limited menu.
I recommend it.

We discovered the restaurant L'Escapade on the internet. We have a small pied-à-terre in St Pierre la Mer. We ate a great cassoulet. We really recommend this restaurant. Christian and Lucette, from Aveyron.

Coming from Ajaccio, this is the second time I've stopped at this excellent restaurant for a meal made with local products by a biker chef where all bikers should stop their two wheels to refuel. The owner is super friendly and his dishes are just like him. Very generous cassoulet at a very reasonable price. Bravo.

We had a great time at L'Escapade! The cassoulet and salad menu was delicious, with only local and homemade products, and very generous! The owner was adorable and super generous! Special mention to the Cabanel shooter to help you digest! Thank you for everything.

We were lucky enough to eat a delicious meal served by the owner himself, a very pleasant, kind man, I recommend this very friendly restaurant. If one day I return to Castelnaudary I will be delighted to return there.
