Excellent service and cuisine in a warm atmosphere under beautiful stained-glass windows.

A warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff is incredibly attentive.
The dishes are refined and beautifully presented. We tried the oysters, which were excellent, as were the anchovies and the octopus. The creamy egg was a delight.
There's a wide selection of meat and fish, all high-quality products.
The place is authentic and clean. A wonderful discovery; we'll gladly return on our next trip to the north.

First time at L'Escargot 🐌. Beautiful restaurant 🍽️ on a pedestrian street in Valenciennes. I agree with the reviews about the service: attentive and impeccable 👍🏻 What we ordered was delicious 😋. I rediscovered the artichoke 😍. The menu is on a tablet 📱 and the wine and spirits list is extensive 🤩: I've never seen anything like it 👏🏻. I can't wait to go back to try other dishes 😊 and enjoy the excellent service again 👍🏻.

You feel comfortable from the moment you arrive. The atmosphere is warm, the dishes arrive beautifully presented, and above all… they live up to expectations. This is a place that focuses on simplicity, quality, and conviviality, and it works.
A restaurant that more than deserves its reputation. One thing is for sure: it wasn't our last visit.

Thank you all so much, you were fantastic! The indoor seating, intended for 10 people, was moved to the terrace because it was too hot, and the staff went out of their way to accommodate us. All the food and drinks met our expectations, except for the octopus, which had a very bitter sauce. The birthday cake was absolutely delicious. It was a wonderful lunch with my family. Thank you so much!

A place I frequent regularly, and for good reason: I'm never disappointed.
The service is always impeccable, the dishes refined and of high quality. A little bonus that particularly appeals to me as a Lyonnaise at heart: they carry Bobosse products, the only true benchmark in terms of charcuterie!
