L'esperance sur Bandol

Dans une rue tranquille à deux pas du parking de Bandol, ce restaurant a un cadre agréable avec un beau mur végétalisé. Les tables sont suffisamment espacée pour que l'on puisse discuter tranquilement. Nous avons eu un petit problème au niveau de la réservation mais la patronne a pu le résoudre. À partir de là, tout a été parfait : service, plats et desserts. Nous reviendrons certainement.

The cuisine is excellent, combining flavors and creativity. The welcome and service are perfect, a restaurant that deserves a star.

Tous les espoirs sont permis, tout est délicieux. Rue piétonne bien calme, très beau décor! Monsieur au fourneau, madame au service, un duo parfait! Entrées, asperges vertes avec fleur de zucchini farcie au crabe et l’autre foie gras avec confiture de figues. Tout parfait. Aussi beau que bon! St Pierre servi sur asperges blanches avec un coulis de citron et purée de brocoli! Excellent! Repas mémorable en tous points!

If you want to have a good time, this is the place for you! Extraordinary and succulent cuisine. We enjoyed ourselves. Impeccable service with the owner who takes her time to share a pure moment of happiness with you. The products are fresh and there are even a few surprises in addition to the menu (small toast, appetizer and homemade marshmallows). I recommend and we will keep the address for a future visit. Cooked good and very balanced. Very pleasant place to spend time as a couple or with friends.

One of the best meals I have ever had. And such fantastic value for money. We ended up coming twice throughout our holiday. It was so good. The first night we had the three course menus for 45€ per person, I can honestly say I’ve never had such fantastic food for such a reasonable price. The second time we went we had the more expensive menu which included lobster , costing 60€ per person for three fantastic courses. This equally was fantastic food at a very good value price. Whats more the portion sizes are a good size, we left feeling very full both times. The restaurant is very small and just received Michelin star. The hostess was a very friendly and beautiful lady who looked after us very well despite our bad french. and the fish… oh the fish! It was so good! So well cooked. It melted in our mouth. Great wine also and reasonably priced. The attention to detail and love that goes into the food here is just sensational. They are fully deserving of there Michelin star, and yet not at all pretentious. (The first day we just walked in with no reservation with our beach wear on, with no problem at all!) I don’t think k will ever get such fantastic food at such a great price again. I cannot recommend them enough! I wish this Restruant all the success, Thankyou for a lovley 2 meals. I can say that it is my favorite place in Bandol. The price/quality is excellent. Although there was only one person in the service, everything was fast. And the lady was very nice and kind. We preferred the classic menu. Both the main course were excellent. The sauce, the consistency of the fish was great. I would say it’s the best fish I’ve ever eaten. I enjoyed it a lot. The olive oil they used tasted like flowers. We loved it. The restaurant also sells this olive oil. Since it was very hot at noon, we preferred tomato and raspberry juice instead of wine. The brand they used was pretty good. Definitely a must come. Because anyway, everywhere is more or less in this price range or much more expensive and none of them are so beautiful.

Very nice restaurant in a cross street in Bandol. Definitely worth a visit, the food is very good.
