A very pleasant place, decent service and food, but not enough to justify the prices…too expensive for me…I'm talking about the value for money, of course.

I highly recommend it! 5 stars.
The food is excellent – the menu is limited, which means the ingredients are fresh, the dishes original, and full of flavor! We were lucky enough to have a live band playing, so the atmosphere was fantastic. Very good cocktails, and for those who like them, a full list of different kirs!

L'Estocade restaurant, a true gem at the foot of Chartres Cathedral. Ideally situated on the banks of a small river, the terrace tables offer a haven of tranquility combined with the pleasure of discovering a menu that will tantalize even the most discerning palates.
The cuisine is authentic and flavorful, the presentation is beautiful, and the service is impeccable, discreet, and professional.
The daily wine selection would make any wine merchant envious. A must-try in the beautiful city of Chartres.

Fantastic restaurant. We glanced at the menu in passing, quite by chance, and it immediately made us want to go. The restaurant is on the outskirts of the city center, which makes it much quieter. Furthermore, the owner and his staff are very pleasant and efficient. The restaurant is lovely, although we preferred the terrace overlooking the Eure River to escape the heatwave. The restrooms are very clean. The entire team is attentive, smiling, and responsive to customers' needs, and the atmosphere is very pleasant; but above all, every dish (in our case: main course + dessert + coffee) was truly excellent. Highly recommended.
