Pleasant atmosphere but the meal was disappointing! The dishes arrived cold and the meat was not cooked as requested. Despite a request for recooking, we were unable to eat our meat because it was still not cooked. Far too high price for the menu in general. I do not recommend because I am disappointed. On the other hand, good wine and pleasant service.

I agree with the positive comments: warm and welcoming setting with its round tables and fireplace, which give this beautiful atmosphere. The staff, young, caring, attentive and friendly. Very good meal. Congratulations to the chef (who we can't see). Very nice address. We will come back accompanied to discover the place, the pleasure for the eyes as well as on the plate. Restaurant vouchers accepted.

We came to spend a weekend in Chartres and l'Estocade was recommended to us by a friend. We were delighted with the moment we had. In addition to great value for money, the plates are well presented and the products are tasty. Very small (tiny) downside on the wine list which could be expanded.

Délicieuse cuisine, le carpaccio de st jacques est une véritable tuerie! Le pâté en croûte excellent. Serveuse tres sympa et volontaire! Peut-être augmenter le choix des vins au verre et mieux expliquer la composition des plats (quels légumes, sauces etc...) et ce sera impéccable :)! On y retournera avec grand plaisir!
