L'Etape à Pates sur Tours

This restaurant is excellent! Being a big pesto fan, I actually ordered pesto for once, and I wasn't disappointed at all—neither the taste nor the texture of the pasta was amazing! I recommend it to all food lovers who enjoy Italian cuisine 😁

Honestly, a great meal. I had the curry pasta, absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is very pleasant and the staff are very attentive.

Really nice, very good and generous portions

Lunch with 3 adults and 1 child (2.5 years old). The portions are generous, almost everything is homemade, and it shows in the taste. I highly recommend it for anyone who wants pasta (not al dente, for the purists).

Good pasta in ample quantities. A variety of recipes to suit everyone's taste. Good value for money. We chose to order one adult portion to share between our two children, ages 6 and 3, rather than two children's meals, as we wanted to have dessert elsewhere and therefore didn't need the dessert from the children's menu. Please note that there was an additional charge of €1.50 for the cutlery for the 3-year-old.

From Amboise, we cycled to Tours. Arriving there around 12:00, we were in the mood for coffee. This little restaurant looked promising, so we ordered. The lady behind the bar commented: "Fine, but between 12:00 and 14:00 there are a lot of lunch guests, so I'll need the table then." Fine! Delicious coffee! I still had some faded change that the lady could really use, so I exchanged it. Later, around 13:30, we went back for lunch and ordered a lunch menu here: tartine, dessert, and a drink. The tartine carnivore was perfect; spicy and generous with lettuce and balsamic vinegar. Dessert: a slice of strawberry/fig tart and a chocolate tiramisu that I would kill for: so delicious!!!! We had a wonderful meal and the people were very friendly!!!!

The food was excellent. The welcome was very warm. The waiter was truly pleasant, smiling, and efficient. We look forward to returning when we're back in the area.

We chose this restaurant completely by chance. We had a wonderful meal. The pasta was excellent, fresh, and homemade. Sunshine on a plate, bursting with flavor. Friendly welcome. Highly recommended!
